Therefore I command you to be openhanded toward your fellow Israelites who are poor and needy in your land." Deuteronomy 15:10-11 (NIV)

People in need provide a unique opportunity for ministry. By preparing and equipping churches to minister to the underserved, relationships are built and ministry to physical needs opens doors for spiritual conversation. With Jesus as the example, churches are equipped to minister as He did. He met the hurting at the point of their need providing a bridge to share His saving grace.
