From the Harvest to the Harvest Ministry (Go Now Missions)
She realized she “was beginning to know Christ for the first time in her life”.
At the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, a freshman was drawn to the Baptist Student Ministry (BSM) and the Global Blends Deli after hearing about them on social media. This led her to volunteer at the deli and join a weekly Bible study group.
While helping make sandwiches, take orders, and clean the building, she also attended BSM’s Rejoice Worship Services. Through this process, she realized her life was transforming. As she began to truly follow Him, she experienced remarkable improvements, particularly in managing her anxiety.
Recently, she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized alongside two other students who had also connected through Global Blends. As Rene, a Go Now Missions student serving there, beautifully summarized: “God is using the deli shop to bring others to know Him.”
PRAY WITH US
Lord, we praise You for using simple places like a college deli to bring students to salvation. We pray Luke 10:2 over these campuses, asking that students will boldly answer the call to be “harvest workers.” Please grant these students the boldness to speak Jesus verbally and to show Your love through their service. AMEN.

De los Sándwiches a la Salvación
De la Cosecha para la Cosecha (Misiones "Go Now")
“Se dio cuenta de que estaba comenzando a conocer verdaderamente a Cristo por primera vez en su vida”.
En la Universidad de Texas Valle del Río Grande (UTRGV), una estudiante de primer año conoció el Ministerio Estudiantil Bautista (BSM) y la cafetería Global Blends Deli a través de las redes sociales. Su interés la llevó a servir como voluntaria en la cafetería y a integrarse a un grupo semanal de estudio bíblico.
Mientras ayudaba a preparar sándwiches, atender pedidos y colaborar con los quehaceres del local, también comenzó a participar en los servicios de adoración “Rejoice” del BSM. Durante ese tiempo, Dios comenzo a transformar su vida. A medida que aprendía a seguir a Cristo de manera genuina, experimentó cambios profundos, especialmente en la forma de enfrentar la ansiedad.
Recientemente, aceptó a Jesucristo como su Señor y Salvador y fue bautizada junto con otros dos estudiantes que también llegaron a conectarse con el ministerio a través de Global Blends. Como expresó René, una estudiante de Go Now Missions que sirve en este ministerio: “Dios está usando esta cafetería para llevar a muchas personas a conocerle”.

Señor, te alabamos porque utilizas lugares sencillos, como una caftería universitaria para atraer a los estudiantes a la salvación. Oramos las palabras de Lucas 10:2 por estos campus universitarios, pidiendo que levantes obreros para tu mies. Que los estudiantes respondan con valentía a tu llamado y sean fieles testigos de Cristo. Concédeles la confianza para proclamar a Jesús con sus palabras y reflejar tu amor a través de su servicio.
